Caviar Productions: Development that scales
Caviar Productions is an ingenious, young and creative film collective that specialises in producing premium music videos. Founded in 2018, Caviar Productions has produced in the hundreds of music videos. Despite our main office being based in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne, we have expanded in becoming a nationwide music video production power house.
About The Project
Cherry8 lead on transforming Caviar Production’s high end portfolio into a responsive custom WordPress site. Caviar Production’s portfolio have a specific target audience within their service and Cherry8 were involved in creating additions to transition a selection of the content. Through adding effects Cherry8 were able to make it more enjoyable without losing the professional edge which their content requires. The site also features a responsive Web Design, Content Management System and Code Optimisation to enhance the website speed and facilitate customisability
The Challenge
Caviar Production has a specific target audience therefore it needed to work efficiently and effectively on different handheld devices. The website should be targeted to this specific audience and ensure this is user friendly within the identified group. The management team at Caviar Production needed a capable Content Management System (CMS) which had the ability to manage the portfolio, content and the overall maintenance of the website. Cherry8 were able to develop a custom built CMS in the backend which allowed Caviar Production’s team to be able to manage each scenario without developing complications or encountering problems. Cherry8 were able to create the individual content types separately thus allowing the team to be able to make updates, as required, without using HTML or additional advanced practices.
